Why Digi Up exists
Most agencies in Dubai chase the brands with the biggest budgets. We would rather work with the businesses that keep the city trading.
Trading companies, wholesalers, and importers get treated as unglamorous work. They are also the businesses where fixing one inquiry process pays for itself inside a month.
§ 01/The founder

Javid Iqbal
Founder
I started working in the UAE in 2023, after freelancing and teaching. Since then I have worked inside the kind of businesses I now build for. Customer dealing, finance, operations and marketing at Altaj Alabyad Auto Maintenance, where part of the job was bringing in clients from across the GCC. Social media, lead generation and website management at Edition Living. Marketing strategy and brand growth at Mobi King Phones, a B2B wholesaler exporting used iPhones. Alongside that, work in real estate, ecommerce and B2B trading, and right now branding and strategy for Dream Night Hypermarket.
Working inside those companies is where the idea came from. I kept meeting strong businesses, with real products, real customers and years of trade behind them, that had a weak website, almost no online presence, and no system for handling the inquiries they did get. The business was solid. The way it got found and answered online was not.
Most agencies run the same playbook whatever the industry. A trading company does not sell the way a consumer brand does. The buyers are different, the sales process is longer, most of the conversation happens on WhatsApp, and the decision usually involves more than one person. Closing that gap is the reason Digi Up exists.
I handle strategy, lead generation, social direction, website direction, talking to clients, and the last check before anything goes out. For development, technical SEO, ads, design and video I bring in people who do that one thing well, and you will know who is working on what. What I will not promise is guaranteed sales, guaranteed leads, or instant rankings. What I will promise is a clear strategy, work done properly, reporting you can check, and steady improvement.
§ 02/How we work
Four things that decide what working with us is like.
- The person you message does the work
- There is no account manager between you and delivery, and no junior quietly assigned to your project after the pitch. When you send a WhatsApp message, it reaches the person who will build the thing.
- We bring people in, and we say when
- Some work goes to a contractor: a video edit, a photo shoot, a specialist build. That is normal and it keeps costs down. What is not normal is hiding it, so you will be told who is doing what before it starts.
- You see progress, not a reveal
- Work is shown while it is in progress, even when it is unfinished and awkward to look at. A surprise at the end is how projects end up built twice, and the second build is always on somebody's budget.
- We turn down work we cannot deliver
- Capacity here is real and limited. Taking a project we cannot run properly would buy one month of revenue and cost a reference, so if the timing is wrong we will say so.
§ 03/What we believe
The things we will not claim, even when claiming them would win the work.
- Nobody can guarantee a ranking
- Google does not sell positions and does not accept payment for them. Any agency promising a specific ranking is either guessing with your money or planning to show you a search term nobody types.
- A real timeline beats a comfortable one
- We would rather tell you eight weeks and deliver in eight than tell you four and spend the last month explaining. The honest number is the one that lets you plan around us.
- Reporting you cannot check is not reporting
- You get the numbers that decide the next month: what went out, what came in, and what an inquiry cost. Not a screenshot of a rising line with nothing underneath it to say what the line is counting.
- Activity is not a result
- Twelve posts a month is a description of effort, not of outcome. The only questions worth answering are whether more of the right people are contacting you and what each of those conversations cost.
§ 04/Who we serve
B2B and trading businesses across Dubai, UAE and the wider UAE: trading companies, wholesalers, importers and exporters, auto parts suppliers, and local SMEs.
Real client projects are published with the client named and the outcome stated plainly. Where we built something to show method rather than for a paying client, the entry says so.
Talk to the person doing the work.
There is no account manager between you and delivery. The person who answers is the person building it.
